“Where elegance meets home”
Hundreds of properties bought, fixed, and sold. Hundreds of rental units under management. Multiple hotels. A personal real estate portfolio worth over $30 million. Nazrin LaVerdiere doesn't just sell Maine real estate — she's spent two decades building one of the most successful private portfolios in the state, driven by a genuine passion for what real estate can do in people's lives.
For Nazrin, real estate isn't a job. It's the thing she loves most outside her family. She lives for the moment a first-time buyer gets the keys, the moment a family closes on the home they'll grow into, the moment an investor sees a property's hidden potential come to life. Helping others fulfill their dreams through real estate is what gets her out of bed in the morning — and it's why her clients tend to become repeat clients.
Born and raised in Azerbaijan, Nazrin earned a full scholarship to come to the United States at eighteen, attended high school in Miami, and went on to Colorado College on another scholarship. She has called Maine home for the past twenty years, raising her family in Bangor and putting her uncommon work ethic into building a real estate empire from the ground up. She speaks five languages — English, Azeri, Turkish, Russian, and conversational German — bringing a global perspective and a true ability to serve clients from any background.
Before earning her broker's license, Nazrin spent fifteen years as a bank vice president — first managing branches across central Maine for Key Bank, then serving as Vice President and Business Development Officer at First National Wealth Management. That career means she speaks fluent banker too, which matters more than most people realize when you're trying to get a deal financed and closed.
The Difference
What Sets Nazrin Apart
She’s personally bought, fixed, financed, managed, and sold hundreds of properties — there’s nothing in a house she hasn’t already seen and dealt with
A deep understanding of property values, neighborhood dynamics, and the Maine market that comes from being an active investor, not a part-time observer
A natural eye for design — she sees what a property could be, not just what it is, which means buyers find homes with potential and sellers get advice on how to maximize value before listing
Multilingual — fluent in English, Azeri, Turkish, and Russian, with conversational German
An immediate network of contractors, lenders, inspectors, and trades you simply don’t get from a part-time agent
Her husband, Mark LaVerdiere, is a commercial real estate attorney and managing partner of Apex Business Law — and through what Mark describes as “years of careful negotiation and very little say in the matter,” Nazrin's clients receive discounted legal services on their transactions through his firm. It's one of the few times in marriage where everyone wins.
